Rating: lg lsb316 review:I tried to purchase this at Best Buy for $299, but, thank goodness they were out of stock. I found this in Amazon for $40 cheaper, and with free shipping! I am not handy by any means, but, this was very simple to hook up. The sound is great and the wireless subwoofer is definitely the way to go. The only negative is that LG doesn't include the screws for mounting. That was a pain. I'd rather LG charge an extra couple of bucks and include the screws. Besides that, I absolutely love this soundbar!

lg lsb316 review:Before purchasing this, I heard a few other sound bars, which produced decent sound, but nothing great. This model surpassed all of my expectations with regards to sound. Very full range, I now hear voices clearly and the bass is more than enough for my needs.
I was worried about the wireless sub woofer, as I heard some brands having problems with it interfering with Wi-Fi. I have a Mac Mini hooked up to my TV, so that would be a deal breaker. But I'm happy to report that there are n interference issues.
The Bluetooth feature works really well with an iPod Touch. Using a Mac Book Pro, I got a lot of sound cutting out, but the iPod streamed the sound perfectly.
The wall mount bracket is handy, but I wish it allowed for space to route the numerous cables I have going from my entertainment center to the TV which is hung on the wall. One option would be to mount the sound bar above the TV, but that would reduce remote effectiveness, and I am not sure how well that would sound. So I have mounted it below the tv with my group of cables somewhat blocking the display. Luckily this doesn't seen to interfere with remote control functions.
I am very happy with this purchase, and I would highly recommend this product to others.

lg lsb316 review:I've been using my lg sound bar for 2 months now and it is great. I had no trouble setting it up. I run my blue ray player, my cable tv box and my apple tv through the plasma tv and then run a single optical cable to the sound bar...simple and clean. The sound is great, perhaps if you want Bose quality sound you'll be disappointed, but for me it's as good as my self-rigged surround system was only without all the speakers and cables. I don't know how they do it, but the virtual surround sound is great, I can hear sound behind me and to the side.
One reason I chose this system is because the sub-woofer is wireless, and It has Bluetooth capabilities.
The sound bar has several sound settings including one for mp3 players, so there are options if you want to use them. I have a Logitech harmony universal remote, and I was able to import the lg remote into it, so I can run everything with the one remote.
If you are looking for a good solid sound system for your HDTV, this is a great product for a reasonable price.
